Joe Barton (R-Oil Industry) apologizes to BP.

Really, he did.
And this is what the BP CEO is sorry about.
And a morbidly rich man who hasn’t missed a meal since he used to collect unemployment is making cracks about American kids dumpster diving.
And Orrin Hatch thinks people are unemployed because they’re high.

Why do Republicans hate Americans?

UPDATE: Apparently the Republican leadership isn’t completely tone deaf yet. Good for Cantor and Boehner.

I thoroughly enjoyed this essay. It’s long past time to rethink cherished beliefs and received wisdom.

  1. Limbaugh: “These people . . .” Seriously? These people?

“Try your house.” It’s a thing called the refrigerator. You probably already know about it. Try looking there. There are also things in what’s called the kitchen of your house called cupboards. And in those cupboards, most likely you’re going to find Ding-Dongs, Twinkies, Lays ridgy potato chips, all kinds of dips and maybe a can of corn that you don’t want, but it will be there.

Sure peckerhead. Children who rely on school lunches for meals are definitely going to have a house stocked with ding-dongs. Why is it so hard to believe that we have starving children in America? We do. They are a real phenomenon, one that is continually ignored.

Limbaugh makes me want to puke.

  2. The Prof Says:

I choose not to reward his bad behavior by paying attention to him.
